Geoff Quine Memorial Hamper Race.

It was great to start 2015 with a 2nd place in todays Geoff Quine Memorial Hamper Race, behind  older brother Tom. With such little wind and not enough race distance, it was tough to get away from the group. As the race was rescheduled top Manxmen Pete Kennaugh and Mark Christian couldn't make it due to being at the Revolution, which was slightly disappointing as you know they will split things up whatever the conditions. Most people treat the race as abit of fun, but when everyone's actually racing it's a whole different story. Some even bring out the race bikes just for the 'Manx Nationals' as some people call it.

It was great to get a Mazzone 1,2 even though it is far from the biggest race I will compete in this year, and also as this may be the only time I will race my brother this year.

I hope you enjoyed the read.

Thanks.
